V nadaljevanju smo proučili start-up podjetja in njihov pomen za gospodarstvo. Ob tem smo predstavili značilnosti start-up podjetij in opredelili njihove prednosti ter slabosti.

Title:Synergies and challenges of collaboration between family businesses and startups illustrated by a practical example
Abstract:The thesis is intended to explain how family and start-up companies can mutually benefit from cooperation in order to increase their innovative abilities. Family businesses play a key role in today's economy. However, in the current dynamic economic environment, the family business is challenged to maintain its competitive position. On the other hand, start-up companies often have promising innovative ideas with great market potential. Therefore, these two parties are expected to help each other. First, we defined family businesses and their importance in the economy, where we presented the characteristics of family businesses and the advantages and disadvantages of family businesses. We also defined the impact of family businesses on the economy and in Slovenia. In the following, we examined start-up companies and their importance in the economy, where we presented the characteristics of start-up companies and defined their strengths and weaknesses. We also defined the impact of start-ups on the economy and in Slovenia. We chose the topic because we wanted to find out whether family and start-up businesses can really help and benefit each other.
