Abstract:V želji po oblikovanju trajnostno učinkovitega, uspešnega in stabilnega poslovnega okolja, so managerji v organizacijah v veliki meri odvisni od poznavanja ustreznih pristopov, metod in tehnik, ki jih bodo vodila k izbiri ustreznih ukrepov za dosego želenih rezultatov. V ta namen avtorji v tej monografiji predstavljamo raziskovalne trende in trajnostne rešitve v inženiringu poslovnih sistemov, ki organizacijam omogočajo dodatno podporo pri doseganju zastavljenih ciljev. Obvladovanje inoviranja, optimiranje vzdrževanja, vključevanje proaktivne ergonomije, obvladovanje učinkovitosti in uspešnosti poslovnih procesov in organizacijskih sprememb in obvladovanje trajnostnih oskrbovalnih verig so le nekateri izzivi, ki jim bodo managerji v organizacijah morali v prihodnje posvetiti več pozornosti v želji po ustvarjanju bolj trajnostne prihodnosti. Poleg teoretičnih predstavitev trendov uporabe posameznih pristopov, so predstavljeni tudi posamezni primeri njihove uporabe v praksi.

Managing innovation, optimizing maintenance, incorporating proactive ergonomics, managing business process efficiency and effectiveness, and organizational change, as well as managing sustainable supply chains, are just a few of the challenges that managers in organizations need to pay more attention to in order to create a more sustainable future.
