Sledi prikaz okoljskega vpliva opazovanega podjetja. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili, kaj so obnovljivi viri energije, kaj predstavlja trajnost, kaj so fotovoltaične celice in kako delujejo; predstavili smo tudi toplotno črpalko in električna vozila.

Title:Sustainable transformation of a logistics company
Abstract:The goal of thesis is to propose a solution for establishing a self-sustaining cycle, meaning that the company is capable of providing enough electrical energy to sustain all systems that require electrical power to operate. The generation of electrical energy could be achieved through a solar plant, converting solar energy into electricity. Since a solar power plant cannot ensure uninterrupted operation, surplus produced energy should be stored in energy storage units or batteries. As part of the green transition, the vehicle fllet could aslo be replaced with trasnportation means that do not generate a carbon footprint. Lastly, to complement the solar power plant, the installation of a heat pump could establish a completely self-sufficient energy system theoretically capable of operating independently of the power grid. In the introduction of the thesis, we first identified the problem that will be addressed throught the thesis, followed by a chapter presenting the Tovorna postaja Celje. Subsequently, an overview of the environmental impact of the observed company was provided. In the theoretical part, we defined renewable energy sources, sustainability, photovoltaic cells and their functioning, as well as the presentation of heat pumps and electric vehicles. Additionally, based on real data, we calculated the costs associated with fuel consumption in vehicles and subsequently estimated the potential reduction in annual costs with the introduction of electric vehicles.
