Abstract:
Novica o nosečnosti je za bodoča starša pogosto veselo oznanilo. Večina bodočih staršev upaja, da bosta nosečnost in porod potekala brez zapletov in težav. Nekateri starši pa se morajo soočiti z drugačnim izzidom nosečnosti. Spiritualne potrebe ob tihem rojstvu nemalokrat ostajajo nezadovoljene in spregledane. Starši se soočajo s stiskami in spiritualnimi potrebami, ki ostanejo nezadovoljene. Zdravstveno osebje ima premalo znanja o ravnanju s starši, ki doživijo izgubo otroka. Izkazala se je potreba po izobraževanju s področja spiritualne oskrbe v zdravstveni negi.

Title:
Spiritual care for parents of stillborn babies
Abstract:
The news of pregnancy is often joyful for parents-to-be. Most future parents imagine pregnancy as a time of anticipation, hoping that pregnancy and childbirth will pass without complications and problems. Some parents, however, have to face a different outcome. Spiritual needs in silent birth often go unmet and overlooked. Parents face hardships and spiritual needs that remain unmet. Health personnel don't have enough knowledge about dealing with parents who experience the loss of a child. The need to train nurses in spiritual care has been demonstrated.
