Abstract:V magistrskem delu prikazujemo zgodovinski razvoj konstrukcijskih sistemov za visoke stavbe – nebotičnike.

Title:The influence of outrigger and vierendeel trusses on the horizontal stiffness of skyscrapers
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we present the historical development of structural systems for high-rise buildings – skyscrapers. Basic structural systems commonly encountered in such structures are described. Additionally, outrigger and vierendeel trusses are presented to investigate their influence on horizontal stiffness and resulting displacements. The practical part of the thesis includes the analysis and dimensioning of three different models. Static analysis was performed using the SCIA Engineer software. The basis of the construction is the same for all three models. The models differ in that models 2 and 3 have reinforcements at the level of technical floors, while model 1 lacks reinforcements. Typical steel joints were dimensioned for all three models using the IDEA Statica software. For one of the models, the reinforced concrete core and foundation slab were also dimensioned. In the conclusion of the thesis, a graph showing the horizontal displacements of all three models is presented. It was found that, as expected, model 3 – i.e., the model with the outrigger truss – performed the best.
