Abstract:Uvod: Zadovoljstvo pacientov je pokazatelj kakovosti paliativne oskrbe. Razprava in zaključek: V raziskavi ni ugotovljenih pomembnejših razlik v zadovoljstvu bolnikov s paliativno oskrbo glede mesta oskrbe.

Title:Patients' satisfaction in outpatient or home-based palliative care
Abstract:Introduction: Patient satisfaction is an indicator of the quality of palliative care. The purpose of the task was to investigate satisfaction with palliative care among patients treated in an outpatient clinic or at home. Methods: Quantitative research was conducted with the help of a survey questionnaire, which contained demographic characteristics of the respondents, statements about symptoms, satisfaction with treatment and the medical team, and about patient experiences, assessed by the patient experience statement. 50 respondents participated in outpatient palliative treatment and 50 were treated at home. Data analysis was carried out in the IBM SPSS 22 program. Results: The most important factors related to patient satisfaction are the speed of treatment of symptoms and the way in which tests and treatments are carried out in patients at home, and in the case of outpatient treatment, the way in which tests and treatments are monitored by the doctor. More problems and symptoms were highlighted by the respondents treated at home, there are no statistically significant differences between the respondents according to the place of treatment in relation to satisfaction. There are no statistically significant differences in satisfaction with treatment according to the level of education, we confirmed the same satisfaction with the medical team, regardless of the place of treatment. Discussion and conclusion: In the research, no significant differences were found in the satisfaction of palliative care patients regarding the place of care.
