Abstract:
Za podjetje Aviat d. o. o. smo razvili ogrodje za pomoč pri testiranju telekomunikacijskih naprav z generiranjem omrežnega prometa. Ogrodje smo zasnovali na programski opremi TRex, ki jo je razvilo podjetje Cisco. Obstajala je potreba po cenejši in bolj razširljivi rešitvi v primerjavi z rešitvijo Spirent. V diplomskem delu smo najprej opisali uporabljene tehnologije in strojno opremo. Na koncu smo opisali implementacijo celotnega ogrodja.

Title:
Development of a framework for generating network traffic based on TRex software
Abstract:
We have developed a framework for the company Aviat d.o.o. to help test telecommunications devices by generating network traffic. We built the framework based on the TRex software developed by Cisco. There was a need for a cheaper and more scalable solution compared to the Spirent solution. In the diploma thesis, we first described the technologies and hardware used. Finally, we described the implementation of the entire framework.
