Abstract:V tem magistrskem delu obravnavamo tematiko virtualizacije strojne in programske opreme v izobraževalnem okolju. Izberemo Vmware virtualno okolje, katerega analiziramo v kontekstu izobraževalnih ustanov in potrdimo njegovo praktično uporabnost v konkretnem okolju.

Title:Computer classroom virtualization
Abstract:In this master's thesis, we address the topic of hardware and software virtualization in the educational environment. We focus on the subject from both hardware and user perspectives. We analyze various types of virtual architectures, which allows us to better understand the technical aspect of virtualization. We also examine current trends and the future of virtualization to gain insights into the latest and best practices and technological innovations in this field. Emphasis on the characteristics of key computer components, such as processors, memory, graphics cards, and hard drives, provides us with a comprehensive understanding of their impact on system performance. We highlight the importance of hardware analysis before implementing virtualization, which clearly underscores the need for thorough research and planning. In the conclusions, we confirm that virtualization can be an effective tool for resource optimization and system management. This understanding is contingent upon comprehending the underlying hardware and various types of virtual architectures, including different types of hypervisors. The acquired knowledge enables the selection of the most suitable solution for specific educational needs. We choose the VMware virtual environment, which we analyze in the context of educational institutions, confirming its practical usefulness in a real-world environment.
