Abstract:Namen našega magistrskega dela je bil preučiti, kako mobilni izvajalci dodatne strokovne pomoči ocenjujejo upoštevanje in izvajanje prilagoditev s strani strokovnih delavcev na rednih osnovnih šolah.

Title:Additional expert assistance mobile workers' assessment of observance of the adjustments for children with special needs in regular elementary school
Abstract:The purpose of our master's work was to examine how additional expert assistance mobile workers evaluate the implementation of adaptations by professionals in regular primary schools. In the theoretical part, we presented the adaptations for various groups of children with special needs, defined possible obstacles in executing the adaptations, and explained the role of school professionals, parents and children. In the empirical part, we conducted a qualitative research on the basis of interviews with nine mobile providers of additional expert assistance, working in twelve schools. We discovered that the spatial and examinatorial adaptations are mostly abided. Teachers often lack the knowledge to follow curricular and didactic adjustments, and are also overworked. The greatest concern is the focus on academic success and low attention to social adjustments on the other hand. Teachers pay less attention to the well-being of children with special needs and poorly encourage peer relations. We identified a regular participation of close members of the professional group and the involvement of parents, who unfortunately often become passive. The interviewees expressed a higher adherence to adaptations by class teachers than by subject teachers. The needs for smaller departments, more staff and additional training of employees have been identified.
