Abstract:Možganska kap je eden vodilnih vzrokov smrti in invalidnosti po svetu. Raziskave, vključene v končno analizo, smo prikazali s pomočjo evalvacijske tabele, kritično ocenili s pomočjo ocenjevalnega orodja JBI, jih razvrstili v raven hierarhije in izvedli vsebinsko analizo. Rezultati: Od 95 identificiranih raziskav smo v končno analizo vključili sedem raziskav. Raziskave smo razvrstili v ravni hierarhije dokazov, in sicer: dve raziskavi sta v ravni 7, ena raziskava v ravni 6 in štiri raziskave v ravni 5.

Title:Success of emergency medical transport of patients after stroke
Abstract:Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. Time is crucial in the care of stroke patients, as it determines whether the patient will receive appropriate therapy. The aim of this thesis was to identify factors influencing the success of urgent transport of stroke patients by reviewing the literature across various databases. Methods: Scientific literature was reviewed based on inclusion and exclusion criteria in international databases including PubMed, MEDLINE/CINAHL Ultimate, ScienceDirect and Sage. The search process is depicted using a PRISMA diagram. Studies included in the final analysis were presented using an evaluation table, critically assessed using the JBI appraisal tool, categorized into levels of evidence hierarchy and subjected to thematic analysis. Results: Out of 95 identified studies, 7 were included in the final analysis. The studies were categorized into levels of evidence hierarchy: two studies were at level 7, one study at level 6 and four studies at level 5. Six subcategories were identified related to factors influencing the success of urgent transport of stroke patients, including admission hospital, education, stroke care in the field, transport time, type of transport and driving conditions. Discussion and Conclusion: Stroke is a time-sensitive disease with increasing global incidence. It is crucial to recognize and mitigate factors influencing the success of urgent transport of stroke patients. This will significantly reduce the time from stroke symptom onset to receiving appropriate therapy, thereby contributing to better clinical outcomes for patients.
