Abstract:Magistrsko delo skozi študijo primera priznane hrvaške orglavke Teje Kulaš analizira razvoj glasbenega talenta, v kontekstu katerega se osredotoča na pomembnost vpliva različnih zunanjih in notranjih dejavnikov v različnih življenjskih obdobjih orgelske umetnice (zgodnje otroštvo, srednje otroštvo, adolescenca in zgodnja odrasla doba).

Title:Analysis of the Musical Talent Development of the Croatian Organist Tea Kulaš - A Case Study
Abstract:The master's thesis analyzes the development of musical talent through a case study of the renowned Croatian organist Tea Kulaš, focusing on the importance of the influence of various external and internal factors at different life stages of the organ artist (early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood). In the first part of the case study, a proprietary survey questionnaire was used, which includes a set of 29 factors. In the second part of the case study, a written interview was conducted, which included opened questions related to personal reflection, learning strategies, intrapersonal relationships, emotional and psychological well-being, personal development, the role of mentorship, adaptability and openness, past challenges, vision for the future, and advice to oneself. Theoretically, in addition to the literature in the field of musical talent, the work is supported by biographies of three important organ artists (J. S. Bach, C. Franck, and J. Demessieux) from different musical periods (Baroque, Romantic period, and the 20th century), which allows for an insight into historical and contemporary perspectives on the development of musical talent in the field of organ music. The master's thesis contributes to a better understanding of the complexity of the development of musical talent, which is not solely dependent on innate abilities but also on the interaction between numerous external and internal factors, and provides a foundation for deriving practical guidelines for pedagogical practice aimed at encouraging the optimal development of young musical talents.
