Metode: Diplomsko delo temelji na pregledu domače in tuje strokovne literature v podatkovnih bazah ScienceDirect in PuBMed. Z opisno (deskriptivno) metodo smo predstavili raziskovalni problem in opisali področje raziskovanja. Z metodo kompilacije in evalvacije smo povzemali, kritično primerjali in argumentirano ovrednotili strokovna stališča. Z metodo klasifikacije smo razvrščali terminološko izrazoslovje in definicije. Rezultati: Zaradi epidemije COVIDA-19 sprejeti epidemiološki ukrepi so poslabšali družinsko mikroklimo mladostnikov, omejili njihovo interakcijo z vrstniki, vzpostavili neenake možnosti v učnem procesu zaradi izobraževanja na daljavoin okrnili za razvoj in zdravje potrebno telesno aktivnost.

Title:The influence of epidemiological measures on the reflection of depression among adolescents during covid-19 pandemic
Abstract:Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic had a tremendous impact on all people, but especially on adolescents. The introduced epidemiological measures affected five areas of adolescent life in particular: family relationships, peer relationships, education, physical activity, and mental health, thus contributing to the rise of adolescent depression. Early diagnosis is difficult, but necessary for appropriate treatment. Methods: The bachelor thesis is based on domestic and foreign literature review within the databases ScienceDirect and PuBMed. Using the descriptive method, we presented the research problem and described the field of research. Using the method of compilation and evaluation, we summarized, critically compared, and evaluated expert opinions with arguments. Terminology and definitions were classified by using the method of classification. Results: Epidemiological measures taken due to the COVID-19 pandemic affected the family microclimate of adolescents, limited their interaction with peers, created unequal opportunities in the remote learning process and curtailed the physical activity. As a result, the worsened emotional and mental health of adolescents contributed to the increase in symptoms of adolescent depression. Discussion and conclusion: Adolescents of different age groups and from different social backgrounds faced the effects of epidemiological measures in different ways, but in any case, there were negative short- and long-term consequences for their physical and mental development, which will require curative and preventive measures in the field of adolescent mental health for a long time to come.
