Title:E-Business and business continuity management: a case study at company xyz
Abstract:Ensuring the continuous operation of e-services, such as e-banking, requires complex activities that users do not perceive. Behind these services lies an established business continuity system, crucial for providing reliable and secure financial transactions. Threats such as cyberattacks or natural disasters can seriously jeopardize the operation and reputation of a bank or company. Therefore, it is essential for companies to develop and regularly test business continuity plans, which are vital for rapid recovery in case of disruptions or crises. Strong support from company leadership is crucial in this regard, as only then can the entire organization effectively respond to potential challenges. Through risk assessments and business impact analyses, companies identify key threats and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to manage them. Regularly conducting drills and testing business continuity plans ensures that organizations are prepared to face unpredictable events and maintain stability in a dynamic business environment. With the increase in digitalization and the unpredictability of geopolitical conditions, it is essential for companies to recognize the importance of business continuity and e-business and invest appropriately in their development, which will be critical for their survival and success in the future.
