Abstract:	Umetna inteligenca je postala del sodobnega poslovanja (Zeba, G. et al., 2021). Kot del pobude industrije 4.0 je vgrajena v proizvodne sisteme, da podpira procese planiranja, upravljanja in izvajanja ter prevzema pobudo in odgovornost za sprejemanje odločitev v realnem času (Terziyan, V. et al., 2018). Namen raziskave je bil odkriti prisotnost uporabe umetne inteligence v procesih planiranja proizvodnje v slovenskih in srbskih podjetjih. Opravljen je bil pregled literature, da bi pridobili ustrezna znanja in opredelitve s področja umetne inteligence in proizvodnje. Z vprašalnikom smo anketirali 21 slovenskih podjetij in 25 srbskih podjetij, da bi dobili boljši vpogled v stanje v letu 2024. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da umetno inteligenco uporablja 24 % podjetij v Sloveniji in 20 % v Srbiji. Iz razlogov preostalih podjetij za neuporabo umetne inteligence pri planiranju proizvodnje lahko sklepamo, da podjetja umetne inteligence niso uvedla zaradi pomanjkanja strokovnjakov in ne vidijo jasne koristi za uvedbo.

Title:	The presence of artificial intelligence technologies in production planning processes
Abstract:	Artificial intelligence has become part of modern business (Zeba, G. et al, 2021). As part of the Industry 4.0 initiative, it is embedded in manufacturing systems to support planning, management and execution processes, and to take the initiative and responsibility for real-time decision-making (Terziyan, V. et al., 2018). The purpose of this research was to discover the presence of AI use in production planning processes in Slovenian and Serbian companies. A literature review was conducted in order to obtain relevant knowledge and definitions in the field of artificial intelligence and manufacturing. A questionnaire was used to survey 21 Slovenian and 25 Serbian companies to get a better insight into the situation in 2024. The results of the survey show that AI is used by 24% of companies in Slovenia and 20% in Serbia. The reasons given by the remaining companies for not using AI in production planning suggest that companies have not implemented AI due to a lack of experts and do not see a clear benefit for implementation.
