Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo obravnavali problematiko vključevanja otrok s posebnimi potrebami v organizirane izvenšolske športne dejavnosti, saj v praksi opažamo, da nimajo veliko možnosti udeležbe v večinskih programih športnih klubov in društev. S pregledom in analizo stanja, opravljeno s pomočjo anketnega raziskovanja, smo to tezo potrdili.

Title:Inclusion of children with special needs in extracurricular sport activities
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we addressed the issue of inclusion of children with disabilities in organised extracurricular sports activities, as in practice we observe that they do not have many opportunities to participate in the majority programmes of sports clubs and associations. The review and analysis of the situation, carried out by means of a questionnaire survey, confirmed this proposition. In order to improve the practice and enforcement of the rights of children with disabilities in and through sport, we have written a handbook for coaches, following the example of foreign sports organisations that have successfully put inclusive sport into practice, in which we presented the inclusive paradigm as a model for the successful implementation of inclusive sport activities and wrote guidelines for working with each group of children with special needs, adaptations that are reasonable to implement during the training process and which are related to the environment, equipment, tools, content and methods of implementation of the training process. The aim of the manual is to empower coaches and other professionals in sport to successfully implement inclusive coaching and to promote the full participation and inclusion of children with disabilities in organised sport activities.
