Title:ANALYSIS OF PURCHASING FACTORS FOR TOYOTA ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Abstract:Vehicle pollution poses a significant challenge to the environment, as the increasing number of vehicles on the roads leads to higher emissions of harmful gases. These gases contribute to air pollution, which negatively impacts human health and accelerates climate change. In recent years, people have become increasingly aware of the environmental consequences of automobile use, which has stimulated demand for more environmentally friendly solutions. As a result, sales of hybrid vehicles, which offer more efficient fuel consumption and lower emissions, are on the rise, contributing to a reduction in our environment footprint. In the thesis, we examine basic information about global warming and how the automotive industry, consumer behavior, and factors influencing purchasing decisions and stages in the decision-making process affect global warming. We explore statistics on hybrid vehicles in Slovenia and the role of the state in purchasing hybrid vehicles. Moreover, we present the Toyota brand and their vehicles. The research presents the implementation of an online survey and the findings regarding whether younger respondents are more inclined to purchase a hybrid vehicle than older ones. The hypothesis is also confirmed based on the obtained data.
Keywords:Toyota, vehicles, hybrid vehicles, purchase, consumers.
