Title:Vpliv zaporske subkulture na resocializacijo obsojencev : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje

Abstract:Znotraj vsakega zapora se oblikujejo zaporske subkulture, ki imajo posebna načela, pravila, norme in vrednote, ki jih obsojenci prevzamejo in ponotranjijo, ta načela in vrednote pa v skoraj vseh primerih kontradiktirajo načelom in vrednotam, ki jih ljudje uveljavljajo zunaj zapora v vsakdanjem življenju. V zaključnem delu obravnavamo zaporsko subkulturo in njen vpliv na resocializacijo obsojencev. V prvem delu zaključnega dela se osredotočamo na značilnosti zaporske subkulture in analiziramo norme, vrednote in pravila, ki sestavljajo zaporski kodeks. Predstavljamo tudi proces resocializacije in implementacijo tretmajskih programov v zaporskih institucijah. V drugem delu zaključnega dela pa se osredotočamo na proces ponotranjanja norm zaporske subkulture in njihov vpliv na resocializacijo obsojencev. Ugotovitve so pokazale, da zaporska subkultura močno vpliva na vedenje obsojencev v zaporu in izven njega, saj narekuje vedenje, ki mora biti v skladu s pravili zaporskega kodeksa. Hkrati smo identificirali močno povezavo med zaporsko subkulturo in udeleževanjem obsojencev v tretmajskih programih, saj so se tisti obsojenci, ki so ponotranjili norme zaporske subkulture, v manjši meri oziroma se sploh niso udeleževali tretmajskih programov kot tisti, ki niso bili pod takšnim vplivom zaporske subkulture. Posledično nam je ta ugotovitev pokazala povezavo med zaporsko subkulturo in resocializacijo obsojencev v smislu reintegracije v širšo družbo. Obsojenci, ki se niso udeleževali tretmajskih programov, so se težje reintegrirali v družbo in se pogosteje vrnili k izvajanju kaznivih dejanj kot tisti, ki so se tretmajskih programov udeleževali.

Title:Impact of prison subculture on the resocialisation of prisoners
Abstract:Within each prison, prison subcultures develop, which have specific principles, rules, norms, and values that inmates adopt and internalize. These principles and values almost always contradict the principles and values upheld by people outside the prison in their daily lives. The final section addresses the prison subculture and its impact on the resocialization of inmates. The first part of the final section focuses on the characteristics of the prison subculture and analyzes the norms, values, and rules that constitute the prison code. It also presents the resocialization process and the implementation of treatment programs in prison institutions. In the second part of the final section, we focus on the process of internalizing the norms of the prison subculture and their impact on the resocialization of inmates. The findings showed that the prison subculture strongly influences inmates' behavior both inside and outside the prison, as it dictates behavior that must align with the rules of the prison code. At the same time, we identified a strong connection between the prison subculture and the participation of inmates in treatment programs. Inmates who internalized the norms of the prison subculture were less likely, or did not at all, to participate in treatment programs compared to those who were not influenced by the prison subculture. Consequently, this finding demonstrated the link between the prison subculture and the resocialization of inmates in terms of reintegration into broader society. Inmates who did not participate in treatment programs had more difficulty reintegrating into society and were more likely to return to criminal behavior compared to those who participated in treatment programs.
