Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo preučevali podjetja s področja logistike in oskrbovalnih verig ter predstavili njihove vizije, poslanstva, cilje in družbeno odgovornost.

Title:Comparison of missions, visions, goals and statements on social responsibility in selected Slovenian and Serbian logistics companies
Abstract:In this master thesis, we studied companies in the logistics and supply chains sector and presented their visions, missions, goals and corporate social responsibility. For our research, we took into account publicly available data published on their websites. We focused on 60 selected logistics and supply chain companies in Slovenia and Serbia. In the second chapter we defined concepts such as mission, visions, goals and social responsibility. We found that the mission statements of the selected logistics and supply chain companies in Slovenia and Serbia are largely related to "purpose" and "people" (employees, customers, stakeholders, interested parties, etc.). The visions are mainly based on "concrete objectives" which is similar in both countries. We traced that out of a total of 60 companies in the logistics and supply chains sector, 44 had a "time-bound" objective and it seems these companies typically prefer not to constrain themselves with time-bound goals. From the results, we found that two thirds of these companies are not socially responsible or do not have information on social responsibility on their websites. We also found that Slovenian companies pay more attention to the protection of the natural environment compared to Serbian companies.
