Abstract:V magistrskem delu z naslovom Pomen gibalnih iger za spominske sposobnosti učencev drugega razreda osnovne šole smo raziskovali vpliv vsakodnevnega vključevanja gibalnih iger v učni proces na spominske sposobnosti učencev.

Title:The importance of movement games for memory skills in second-grade students in primary school
Abstract:In the Master's thesis entitled The importance of movement games for the memory skills of second grade primary school students, we investigated the impact of the daily integration of movement games in the learning process on the students' memory skills. The research was conducted on a sample of 40 second grade pupils divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group participated in daily movement games in different subjects, while the control group followed their usual routine without integrating additional movement games into the learning process. The results of the study showed that the memory skills of the experimental group improved after the intervention, while those of the control group deteriorated. The greatest improvement was seen in girls who were less physically active before the intervention, while no significant improvement was observed in boys. Movement games had a positive impact on students' motivation, attention and concentration, which contributed to easier work and better results in the learning process. The intervention confirms the importance of integrating movement into the learning process for the holistic development of children, especially those who are not physically active enough. Key findings highlight that movement improves memory skills and contributes to better learning performance, while enhancing children's physical and mental health.
