Abstract:Namen tega projekta je bilo ustvariti vezje, ki bo omogočalo napajanje poljubnega bremena in istočasno merjenje stanja napolnjenosti dveh zaporedno vezanih Li – ionskih baterij, ki breme napajata ter posredovanje podatkov na mobilni telefon preko Bluetooth komunikacije.

Title:Measuring the state of charge of two serially connected Li-ion batteries with the help of a mobile phone
Abstract:The purpose of this project was to create a circuit that would allow the powering of an arbitrary load while simultaneously measuring the state of charge of two series-connected Li-ion batteries that power the load, and transmitting the data to a mobile phone via Bluetooth communication. A printed circuit board (PCB) was developed, which includes a microcontroller for which a program was written to read the voltage at its inputs and perform all necessary calculations. The circuit and program functioned as expected from the start. All the necessary data was successfully transmitted to the mobile phone. Additionally, the project included experimental determination of battery capacity and multiple discharge analyses, the findings of which were used to improve the program.
Keywords:Li-ion battery, state of charge, electric current, capacity, discharge
