Abstract:Danes inženirji v industriji potrebujejo hitra in zmogljiva programska orodja, ki omogočajo enostavno analizo in modeliranje procesov.

Title:Comparison of tools for developing applications for process analysis and optimization in industry
Abstract:Today, engineers in the industry need fast and powerful software tools that enable easy analysis and modeling of processes. Robust development tools such as MATLAB and SIMULINK are extremely useful for research and development purposes, but they are still impractical for direct industrial use. Therefore, software tools and artificial intelligence algorithms are increasingly being adopted. One such software package is CSense. CSense enables the analysis of process performance, identification of causes for production errors, process optimization, and many other functions. In this task, data acquisition was performed using a combination of CSense and IFIX environments, processed and analyzed to create a digital twin of the process. This model was later compared with models created in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The analysis and comparison of tools were conducted on a distillation process in the Process Automation Laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FERI).
Keywords:industrial automation, process analysis, machine learning, digital twins, CSENSE
