Abstract:V raziskavi smo želeli analizirati možnost preusmeritve domače proizvodnje iz dosedanje posredne prodaje v direktno prodajo prašičjega mesa, kar je bil tudi eden izmed zastavljenih ciljev.

Title:Business Plan for a Direct Sale Switch of Agricultural Products af the Murg farm
Abstract:In the research, we wanted to analyse the possibility of shifting domestic production from the current indirect sales to the direct sale of pork, which was also one of the goals we set. In the research, we used SWOT analysis method, with which we can define the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the farm. The CANVAS business model was used to compare how the farm is doing now and how it would do when selling products directly. Furthermore, we used the critical path method, with which we determined the latest start and end of individual project activities for the establishment of a complementary activity on the farm, which will be represented by the direct sale of pig meat. Analysing the survey, it was found that consumers prefer to reach for various pieces of fresh meat, which urban residents often buy at the market. Although there are already many providers on the market, there is still an opportunity to enter, as buyers are willing to pay a little more for quality, which the farm could take advantage of. From the data obtained, we concluded that the reorientation or the initial establishment of a complementary activity makes sense, since the demand on the direct market for pork is increasing, while the range of providers is relatively small, especially in the north-eastern part of Slovenia.
