| Abstract: | Med dinamično preobrazbo urbanih središč se je koncept centralnosti v urbanističnem načrtovanju razvil, da bi izpolnil nove družbeno-ekonomske, kulturne in ekološke zahteve. Diplomsko delo obravnava osrednjo vlogo stanovanj v kontekstu vzpostavljanja ali definiranja središčnih območij mesta s poudarkom na območju centra Rotuš 2 v Mariboru v Sloveniji. Preučuje, kako lahko stanovanjska dinamika oblikuje naravo, funk-cionalnost in trajnost takih mestnih jeder. Študija spodbuja vključujoč stanovanjski pristop, mešano rabo in pobude strateškega urbanega oblikovanja za ustvarjanje živahnih, prožnih in bivalnih osrednjih območij sodobnega mesta. |
