Abstract:
Cilj naloge je bil nastaviti in izvesti simulacijo postopka brizganja plastike s konformnim hlajenjem za zagotovitev kratkega časa cikla izdelave ter visoke kakovosti procesa in izdelka. Naloga zajema kratko predstavitev področja brizganja plastike in primerjavo klasičnega hlajenja s konformnim. Na izbranem modelu se nato izvajajo simulacije in primerjave med tema postopkoma z namenom ugotovitve optimalnih parametrov, kot so velikost deformacije, temperature, čas in drugi. Na osnovi tega lahko sklepamo o učinkovitosti enega in drugega pristopa ter primerjamo velikost razlik.

Title:
Simulation of the plastic injection molding process with conformal cooling
Abstract:
The objective of the task was to set up and perform a simulation of the plastic injection molding process with conformal cooling to ensure a short production cycle time, as well as high process and product quality. The task includes a brief introduction to the field of plastic injection molding and a comparison between conventional and conformal cooling methods. Simulations and comparisons are then conducted on a selected model to determine the optimal parameters, such as deformation size, temperature, time, and others. Based on this, conclusions can be drawn regarding the effectiveness of each approach and the magnitude of differences.
