Abstract:
Osrednja tema zaključnega dela je področje organiziranosti Policije in Avtocestne policije pri nadzoru in zagotavljanju varnosti na avtocestah in hitrih cestah v Republiki Sloveniji ter njene učinkovitosti v času njenega delovanja. Pri organizaciji dela policije na avtocestah in hitrih cestah se zaznava potreba po reorganizaciji sistema dela, večji specializiranosti in skupnem delu vseh deležnikov, ki opravljajo delo na avtocestah in hitrih cestah zaradi enotnosti in učinkovitosti pri zagotavljanju varnosti.

The efficiency of the Highway police in the Republic of Slovenia
Abstract:
The main topic of the final thesis is the organisation of the Police and the Highway Police in controlling and ensuring safety on highways and expressways in the Republic of Slovenia and its effectiveness during its operation. In the organisation of the work of the Police on highways and expressways, there is a perceived need for reorganisation of the work system, greater specialisation, and joint work among all stakeholders involved in highway and expressway operations to ensure unity and efficiency in maintaining safety.
