Abstract:Kmetijstvo se sooča z vedno novejšimi spremembami in izzivi.

Title:Design and production of a finger weeder working element prototype in cooperation with the company Tehnos d.o.o.
Abstract:Agriculture is facing new changes and challenges. In order to make farming more sustainable and reduce the use of FFS, the goal was to look at different ways of controlling weeds. The focus was mainly on mechanical weed control and more specifically on the finger weeder. The finger weeder is a tool specifically designed to hoe crops planted in rows, which are planted at a spacing of 25 cm or more between rows. Research revealed, that there are many manufacturers of this tool on the market and that the tool has a very high price. It was therefore decided to team up with the company Tehnos d.o.o, to try and produce a prototype that would be cheaper than the products of other companies and thus more accessible to the farmer. The final product will be cheaper thanks to a simpler design, the advanced machine technology of Tehnos d.o.o. and its decades of experience in the manufacture of agricultural machinery. This thesis covers the agronomic, economic and mechanical engineering aspects of the planing and production process of the new weeder.
