Abstract:V magistrskem delu so obravnavani prehodi toplote in toplotno ravnotežje visokonapetostnega nadzemnega večžičnega faznega vodnika OPPC s ciljem določiti njegovo temperaturno obremenitev glede na obremenitveni tok in meteorološke razmere. Zaradi potrebe po povečanju zmogljivosti hlajenja prenosnega voda so bili analizirani nanosi barvnih in namensko razvitih premazov na goli vodnik OPPC.

Title:Analysis of an OPPC conductor surface color treatment to enhance the cooling capacity of a transmission line
Abstract:The master's thesis addresses heat transfer and thermal balance of a high-voltage overhead multi-stranded phase conductor OPPC intending to determine its thermal load in relation to the load current and meteorological conditions. Due to the need to increase the cooling capacity of the transmission line, coatings of colored and specially developed paints on the bare OPPC conductor were analyzed. For this purpose, an analytical and numerical model was developed to calculate the thermal field. The simulation results were confirmed through measurements and tests on a test track model of the network set up at the test site of the Infrastructure Center for Energy Measurements (ICEM-TC), in collaboration with the company ELES, d.o.o. The bare OPPC conductor was used as a reference for comparing the effects of coatings on conductor cooling. Since the colored coatings and the bare conductor have different emissivity and absorption values, which affect the temperature of the conductor, an experimental evaluation of emissivity was also conducted.
Keywords:OPPC conductor, heat balance of an overhead conductor, emissivity, absorption, surface color treatment, conductor cooling
