Abstract:V magistrskem delu raziskujemo vlogo podpore vrstnikov in učiteljev pri učencih s specifičnimi učnimi težavami (SUT) v izbrani osnovni šoli.

Title:Assessing the role and support of peers and teachers with children who have specific learning difficulties
Abstract:In the master's thesis we research the role of peer and teacher support for students with specific learning difficulties (SLD) in the selected primary school. We studied the opinions of students who have specific learning difficulties, their peers and the teachers who teach them. The goal of the research was to determine how peers and teachers understand and treat students with SLD, and which strategies and forms of support are most successful for their academic achievements and social inclusion. In the theoretical part, we discussed children with special needs, with an emphasis on specific learning difficulties. We also presented the importance of inclusion in the education system and presented the role of teachers, peers, parents and experts in supporting students who have specific learning difficulties. We devoted special attention to the teaching strategy and adjustments for students with specific learning difficulties. The empirical part of the research includes the analysis of surveys conducted among teachers, peers and students with specific learning difficulties, and a description of workshops aimed at raising awareness about SLD. Based on the collected data, we determined how students with specific learning difficulties face challenges, how they receive support and what impact peer awareness has on their social inclusion in the school environment.
