Title:Creating postprocessor in Siemens NX for 3D welding with KUKA robot
Abstract:The master's thesis presents the development of a device for applying a refractory coating to sand moulds used in the production of centrifugally cast rolls. The device is designed to improve the quality and reliability of roll production, which is a key element in hot rolling processes. The use of an automated system allows for greater precision in coating application while reducing the need for manual labour, contributing to increased employee safety and reducing the likelihood of errors often caused by human factors. Additionally, the device significantly speeds up the production process, as it performs mould coating much faster compared to manual application. The device incorporates advanced algorithms that detect the mould's position and enable precise movement adjustments, allowing the device to automatically align with the mould's location within the working area of the device. These algorithms also allow for the adjustment of the coating process based on the mould's size, ensuring wanted results regardless of the mould's dimensions.
