Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vključevanje lesnih gradiv v kontekst načrtovanih dejavnosti v predšolskem obdobju sestavljajo teoretični, empirični in praktični del. Teoretični del zajema pedagoško-psihološki sklop s predstavljeno teorijo razvoja predšolskega otroka in vplivov lesarskih dejavnosti na otrokov razvoj, sledi pedagoško-didaktični sklop z opisom didaktičnih vidikov poučevanja v vrtcu in predstavitvijo gozdne pedagogike. V tehniško-tehnološkem sklopu sta predstavljena les in uvajanje otrok v delo s tem naravnim materialom.

Title:The inclusion of wooden educational material in the context of planned preschool activities
Abstract:This thesis consists of a theoretical, empirical and practical part. The theoretical part includes the following sets: a pedagogical-psychological set, which presents the theory of development of a preschool child and the influence of woodwork activities on their development; a pedagogical-didactic set, which includes a description of didactic aspects of preschool education and a presentation of forest pedagogy; a technical-technological set, which presents wood and an introduction of children to working with this natural material; and the final set, which is intended to present the Zasavje region and the kindergartens included in the research. The empirical part of the thesis presents the study and results of the planning and implementation of woodwork activities in the kindergartens of Zasavje region, which was carried out as part of this thesis. The results show that more than half of the included professional workers plan activities which involve practical woodwork. However, many wish to use it, but do not feel professionally capable enough or they are not sufficiently provided with the necessary material and tools. The practical part includes technical documentation for a basic woodwork activity suitable for preschool children. It is designed as an aid for educators and assistants who wish to include such activities in their work with preschool children, but do not know how to get started.
