Metode: Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela in metodo komparacije. Iskanje in izbiro virov smo prikazali s PRISMA diagramom.

Title:Approaches to encouraging the consumption of a varied, healthy and balanced diet in picky eating children
Abstract:Introduction: Nutrition during childhood plays a crucial role in the development and health of children. Picky eating manifests as rejection of diverse foods and limited nutrient intake is leading to health issues. The aim of our study was to explore approaches for promoting the consumption of diverse, healthy, and balanced diet in picky eaters. Methods: We employed descriptive and comparative methods. The process of searching and selecting sources was guided by a PRISMA diagram. Included studies were presented in an evaluation table and categorized based on the hierarchy of evidence. For critical appraisal, we utilized the JBI tool. Content analysis was used for synthesis. Results: Ten studies were included in the final analysis, two systematic reviews and eight randomised control trials. We developed main category “Approaches to encourage the consumption of varied, healthy and balanced diet in picky children”, two subcategories “Child-Oriented Interventions” and the “Interventions directed at parents, educators, and other significant individuals” along with the corresponding free codes. Discussion and conclusion: An integrated approach involving repeated exposure to new tastes, sensory activities, and collaboration of everyone in the child's environment is the most effective for overcoming picky eating. By using these strategies in both home and school settings, we can effectively support children in developing healthy eating habits.
