Abstract:	Magistrsko delo se na začetku osredotoča na splošno predstavljanje rešitev ERP, kjer so opisane osnovne značilnosti teh sistemov in njihov vpliv na sodobna podjetja. V tem delu so izpostavljene glavne prednosti rešitev ERP, kot so izboljšanje učinkovitosti poslovnih procesov, avtomatizacija nalog in boljše obvladovanje virov, kar podjetjem omogoča optimizacijo nalog in boljše sprejemanje odločitev. Nato se raziskava poglobi v materialno poslovanje znotraj rešitev ERP, kjer so podrobneje obravnavani ključni procesi, kot so upravljanje zalog, nabava, proizvodnja in prodaja. Tu se analizira, kako integracija teh funkcij v rešitve ERP pripomore k večji natančnosti, hitrejšemu obvladovanju zalog in boljšemu usklajevanju poslovnih procesov, kar podjetjem pomaga pri večji produktivnosti in zmanjšanju napak. V zadnjem delu se delo osredotoči na rešitev ERP podjetja Pro-Bit, kjer so opisani postopki implementacije te rešitve v podjetje. Raziskava analizira, kako se sistem prilagaja specifičnim potrebam podjetja, vključuje različne poslovne funkcije ter se povezuje z materialnim poslovanjem. Pomemben poudarek je na izzivih, s katerimi so se srečevali pri implementaciji, ter kako so jih uspešno rešili, kar vključuje usklajevanje med oddelki, izobraževanje zaposlenih in zagotavljanje podpore skozi celoten proces uvajanja. Na koncu raziskava potrjuje, da je uspešna implementacija rešitve ERP ključna za izboljšanje učinkovitosti podjetja, zmanjšanje stroškov ter povečanje produktivnosti, kar podjetju omogoča dosego konkurenčne prednosti. Ob tem pa se izpostavi tudi pomen skrbnega načrtovanja in doslednega spremljanja procesa uvedbe, saj lahko majhne napake vplivajo na dolgoročne rezultate. Raziskava pokaže, da so prilagoditve sistema specifičnim potrebam podjetja ključnega pomena za uspešno implementacijo. Celoten proces pa dokazuje, kako pomembno je vključevanje vseh zaposlenih v postopek ter zagotavljanje ustrezne podpore na vseh ravneh podjetja.

Title:	Implementation of material management in the Pro-Bit PRO.4 solution
Abstract:	The master's thesis begins with a general presentation of ERP solutions, describing the basic characteristics of these systems and their impact on modern companies. This part highlights the main advantages of ERP systems, such as improving the efficiency of business processes, automating tasks, and better resource management, which enables companies to optimize tasks and make better decisions. The research then delves into material management within ERP solutions, examining key processes such as inventory management, procurement, production, and sales. It analyzes how the integration of these functions into ERP solutions contributes to greater accuracy, faster inventory management, and better coordination of business processes, helping companies achieve higher productivity and reduce errors. In the final part, the thesis focuses on the ERP solution of Pro-Bit, describing the implementation procedures of this solution within the company. The research analyzes how the system adapts to the specific needs of the company, incorporates various business functions, and connects with material management. A key focus is on the challenges faced during implementation and how they were successfully resolved, including coordination between departments, employee training, and providing support throughout the implementation process. Finally, the research confirms that the successful implementation of an ERP solution is crucial for improving the company's efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing productivity, which allows the company to achieve a competitive advantage. It also emphasizes the importance of careful planning and continuous monitoring of the implementation process, as even small errors can affect long-term results. The research shows that adapting the system to the specific needs of the company is essential for successful implementation. The entire process demonstrates how crucial it is to involve all employees in the process and ensure adequate support at all levels of the company.
