Rezultati so bili prikazani v evalvacijski tabeli in sintetizirani z metodo vsebinske analize. Rezultati in razprava: Od skupno 1339 identificiranih zadetkov smo v končno analizo vključili 5 raziskav.

Title:The impact of diet on health status of people with multiple scleroses
Abstract:Introduction: A healthy diet can play a key role in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Some MS patients also find that certain dietary changes, such as reducing processed foods, sugar and saturated fats, can help improve symptoms and general well-being. The aim of this MSc thesis was to investigate the impact of diet on the health status of people with multiple sclerosis. Methods. A descriptive method was used with a literature review of CINAHL (EBSCO), PubMed, ScienceDirect and Google Schoolar databases. The literature search process was illustrated using a PRISMA diagram. The Joanna Briggs Institute tool was used for critical appraisal. The results were presented in an evaluation table and synthesised using the content analysis method. Results and Discussion: Search resulted in 1339 hits, five were included into the analysis. We created a main category: The impact of diet on a person's health and three subcategories: dietary pattern, dietary supplements and effects of an appropriate dietary pattern. Conclusion: Choosing the right diet plays an important role in the management of multiple sclerosis. Choosing foods that have an anti-inflammatory effect on the body is necessary. Avoiding foods that cause inflammation in the body can improve or maintain health.
