Vzrok pogostosti naravnih nesreč so podnebne spremembe.

Title:Eu civil protection mechanism (resceu) through the prism of sustainable development
Abstract:It is difficult for a single country to deal with crisis situations resulting from natural disasters. Any cooperation between countries within the EU reflects the stronger cohesion of Europe. The EU Civil Protection Mechanism is the ultimate expression of European solidarity. The response of countries to requests through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism is also an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and gain experience. Nevertheless, no two countries within the EU Civil Protection Mechanism are the same. Some Member States are more exposed to certain natural disasters than others due to their climatic and geological characteristics. There are also differences in the size of countries and their preparedness, but it appears that even large countries need the assistance of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. Climate change is the cause of the frequency of natural disasters. After natural disasters, the European Commission provides financial assistance to its members through the Solidarity Fund to facilitate the reconstruction of the affected area. The European Commission is committed to sustainable development goals to mitigate climate change. To adapt to sustainable development, the European Commission has established several funds, primarily to facilitate the adaptation of the European economy and strengthen the green skills of European citizens. The economy is finding it easier to prepare for the green transition than the security sector. The EU's civil protection mechanism faces the challenge of how to maintain solidarity among Member States and how to bring its activities as close as possible to the sustainable development goals.
