Abstract:Magistrsko delo zajema teoretični in aplikativni del. V aplikativnem delu naloge smo podrobneje analizirali kopilote in med seboj primerjali izbrane tri: Microsoft Copilot, Aisera Enterprise AI Copilot in GitHub Copilot. Po analizi in pregledu literature smo potrdili naslednje: a) predstavljeni pogovorni sistemi imajo konkretne razlikovalne karakteristike, b) sprejetje in uporaba kopilotov sproža etične pomisleke in c) uporaba kopilotov zvišuje produktivnost uporabnikov.
Keywords:umetna inteligenca, pogovorni sistemi, klepetalni roboti, virtualni pomočniki, kopiloti.

Title:Copilot analysis: the evolution and differences of conversational artificial intelligence systems
Abstract:The master thesis comprises a theoretical and an applied part. The theoretical part of the Master's thesis is divided into two parts. The first part introduces artificial intelligence, gives an overview of the development of artificial intelligence, the fundamental concepts covering machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing, and concludes with the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence. The second part defines conversational artificial intelligence systems, gives an overview of their development, types of conversational systems, which are distinguished into chatbots, virtual assistants and copilots, and concludes with ethical aspects of conversational intelligence systems. The origins of artificial intelligence go back to philosophy, fiction and imagination. The idea of giving inanimate objects intelligence has long fascinated humanity. Artificial intelligence is the science of creating intelligent machines and programmes that are able to function in a similar way to human intelligence. artificial intelligence conversation systems are natural language interaction interfaces designed to simulate human conversations using artificial intelligence. In the applied part of the thesis, we analysed copilots in more detail and compared the three selected: Microsoft Copilot, Aisera Enterprise AI Copilot and GitHub Copilot. After the analysis and literature review, we confirmed the following: a) the presented conversational systems have concrete distinguishing characteristics, b) the adoption and use of copilots raises ethical concerns and c) the use of copilots increases user productivity.
Keywords:artificial intelligence, conversational systems, chatbots, virtual assistants, copilots.
