Abstract:V zaključnem delu so raziskovane karakteristike kibernetskih nasilnežev, načini njihove prepoznave, okoliščine, ki povečajo verjetnost izvajanja kibernetskega nasilja, ter težave, s katerimi se kibernetski nasilneži spopadajo.

Title:Kdo so storilci kibernetskega nasilja
Abstract:In the final thesis, the characteristics of cyberbullies are investigated, how they can be recognized, which circumstances increase the likelihood of committing cyberbullying, and the issues that cyberbullies face. Initially, the goal of the thesis was to find an appropriate translation for the terms "cyberbullying" and "cyberbully," as there is no standardized terminology in the Slovenian language, which poses a challenge for researching the phenomenon and referencing previous research findings. The forms of cyberbullying, as well as the consequences and various other issues faced by cyberbullies, are then defined. Additionally, possible methods of working with perpetrators of cyberbullying and preventive plans to reduce and prevent cyberbullying are presented. The results were obtained through a questionnaire published online, where individuals were categorized into two groups based on their responses to questions about forms of cyberbullying – those who had committed one of the forms and those who had not. Thus, respondents who had previously committed one of the forms of cyberbullying continued answering questions about their personality traits, delinquency, and family dynamics, while the others concluded the questionnaire. Due to the small number of cyberbullies (out of 165 respondents, only 38 were identified as cyberbullies), the sample is not representative, making it impossible to generalize findings to the population; the conclusions of the research would need to be further investigated in a broader study. If the findings of the research are overly generalized, it could be stated that cyberbullies do not have obvious characteristics that differentiate them from others; they are not distinctly extroverted or introverted, emotionally unstable, delinquent, and so on. It would be interesting to compare these characteristics with those of individuals who have not committed cyberbullying. Despite not being able to define what distinguishes cyberbullies or how they can be more easily recognized, the final thesis provides a foundation for further research into the issues surrounding cyberbullies.
