Abstract:Zaključno delo obravnava razlike pri usklajevanju poklicnega in zasebnega življenja med redno zaposlenimi in samozaposlenimi posamezniki.

Title:Differences in work-life balance between full-time employees and the self-employed
Abstract:This thesis explores the differences in work-life balance between full-time employed and self-employed individuals. The purpose of this study is to determine whether full-time employees manage to balance these two life domains more easily, whether they face different challenges compared to the self-employed, and whether they receive greater organizational support in this process. The theoretical part presents both types of employment and discusses the concepts of work and private life, the balance of these two areas, work-life conflict, influencing factors, common difficulties, and the consequences of successful or unsuccessful balance. The theoretical section concludes with a comparative analysis of full-time and self-employed individuals regarding the influencing factors and perceived challenges. In the empirical part, an online survey was conducted among full-time and self-employed individuals in Slovenia. The results were analyzed using SPSS and Excel. The findings show that both groups balance work and private life in a similar way, but they face different types of challenges. It was also found that full-time employees receive more organizational support in managing these two aspects of life.
