Title:Crisis communication an essential component of crisis management in micro and small enterprises
Abstract:Today's business environment is more than ever subject to rapid changes, which in themselves have a strong impact on the success of a company. In addition to these changes, a crisis can also threaten business, regardless of the form in which it occurs. It can be production problems, logistical problems, ecological disasters, health crises, problems with employees and employment, cyber problems and the like. This requires companies to make appropriate preparations aimed at anticipating possible scenarios and preparing measures to reduce the consequences of the crisis. It is therefore crisis management, within which crisis communication plays an important role, which we are dedicated to. Crisis management, in addition to all other resources, also requires human resources that are necessary to carry out these tasks. In this regard, small and micro companies are in a rather specific situation, where human resources are quite limited and require specific adjustments. With appropriate organization, especially appropriate delegation of tasks, small and micro companies can also prepare a quality crisis communication plan that addresses the possible occurrence of a crisis in the company.
