Abstract:Magistrska naloga podaja vpogled v izdelavo armaturnih načrtov in pripadajočih podlog (prerezi, pogledi) z uporabo različnih pristopov.

Title:A comparative analysis of conventional and BIM approaches to the preparation of structural plans for reinforced concrete elements
Abstract:The master's thesis provides insight into the creation of reinforcement plans and related subplans (sections, views) using various approaches. For this purpose, two different constructions (a garage and an underground reservoir) were analyzed to evaluate the design workflow according to three methods: conventional 2D CAD process, an intermediate approach with a 3D model to support 2D reinforcement, and a BIM approach with 3D modeling of reinforcement. For each approach, the advantages, disadvantages, time efficiency, accuracy, plan consistency, ability to adapt to project changes and project file size were analyzed. The usability of IFC models for further numerical analysis of structures using the finite element method (FEM) is also discussed. The thesis also covers legislation, primarily the Building Act (GZ-1), which mandates the use of BIM procedures for certain buildings. A survey was also conducted among experts in the field of concrete structures, based on which an analysis of the current practice of using 3D models to create 2D plans in the design of concrete structures was carried out.
