Abstract:Lažne spletne trgovine predstavljajo vse pogostejši izziv v digitalnem okolju.

Title:Fake online stores
Abstract:Fake online stores are becoming an increasingly common challenge in the digital environment. Their design often includes elements that mimic legitimate websites, making it difficult for users to recognize potential risks. The purpose of this master’s thesis is to improve the understanding of key differences between legitimate and fake online stores and to highlight the factors that influence users' trust perception. In the theoretical part, we presented the main characteristics of fraudulent online stores, the pitfalls of online shopping, and the legal framework for consumer protection. In the empirical part, we conducted a comparative analysis of legitimate and fake websites and carried out an interview with a web developer. We developed practical guidelines to help users identify fraudulent online stores and shop safely online.
Keywords:fake online stores, web, consumer protection, shopping
