Title:Vloga strokovnih delavcev in staršev v vrtcu Jarenina pri tematikah smrti in ločitve : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Diplomska naloga z naslovom Vloga strokovnih delavcev in staršev v vrtcu Jarenina pri tematikah smrti in ločitve obravnava, kako vzgojitelji in starši otrok v vrtcu Jarenina obravnavajo temi smrt in ločitev. V teoretičnem delu smo na podlagi prebiranja strokovne literature podrobneje opisali izgubo, smrt in ločitev ter s tem posledično povezano tudi žalovanje. Pri poglavju smrt smo se osredotočili na razumevanje smrti pri različnih starostih otrok in kako naj odrasli govorijo o tej temi z otroki. Poglavju ločitev smo namenili nekaj več podpoglavij in sicer kot prvo, kako sploh otroka seznaniti z ločitvijo, nato smo izpostavili tudi ravnanja, ki se jih naj odrasli izogibajo ob pojavu ločitve, opredelili smo tudi stopnje doživljanja ločitve in žalovanja pri otrocih. V empiričnem delu smo analizirali podatke o tem, kako pogosto se strokovni delavci in starši otrok srečujejo s situacijama smrti in ločitve bližnjega v življenju otroka, kako pogosto strokovni delavci komunicirajo s starši otroka ob pojavu smrti bližnjega v življenju otroka ali ločitvi bližnje osebe otroka, kdo vse so pomembne osebe pri podpori otroka ob pojavu teh situacij in kako starši ocenjujejo splošno podporo, ki jo nudi vrtec pri obravnavi tem, kot sta smrt bližnjega v življenju otroka ali ločitev bližnje osebe otroka. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika in le-te obdelali s pomočjo programa SPSS. Ugotovili smo, da imajo starši v vrtcu Jarenina ob srečanju s situacijama smrti ali ločitve bližnjega v življenju otroka pogosto najbolj pomembno vlogo pri podpori otroku, naslednjo najbolj pomembno vlogo imajo vzgojitelji.

Title:The role of professionals and parents in the Jarenina kindergarten on the topics of death and separation
Abstract:The diploma thesis entitled The role of professionals and parents in the Jarenina kindergarten in the topics of death and separation deals with how educators and parents of children in the Jarenina kindergarten deal with the topics of death and separation. In the theoretical part, based on professional literature, we described in more detail the loss, death and separation, and consequently the associated mourning. In the chapter dealing with death, we focused on understanding death at different ages of children and how adults should discuss this topic with children. We devoted a few more subsections to the chapter dealing with separation, namely, how to acquaint the child with the separation, then we also highlighted the behaviours that adults should avoid in the event of separation and we defined the levels of experiencing separation and mourning in children. In the empirical part, we analysed data on how often professionals and parents of children encounter situations of death and separation of a loved one in the life of the child, how often professionals communicate with the parents of the child in the event of death of a loved one in the life of the child or the separation of a close person of the child, who are all important persons in supporting the child when these situations occur, and how parents assess the general support provided by the kindergarten in dealing with topics such as death of a loved one in the life of the child or the separation of a close person of the child. The data were obtained with the help of a survey questionnaire and processed with the help of the SPSS program. We have found that parents in Jarenina kindergarten often play the most important role in supporting the child when encountering situations of death or separation of a loved one in the life of a child, and educators play the second most important role.
