Abstract:

Title:
Ethics of using persuasive technology on social media
Abstract:
In the thesis, we explored the use of persuasive technology on social media and its impact on users. We focused on the ethical aspects of these technologies and their role in shaping behavior. Through a review of the literature and a questionnaire survey, we examined how users perceive and understand persuasive technology on social media platforms. We found that most users view this technology as unethical and express a need for greater transparency.
