Abstract:Diplomsko delo raziskuje učinek umetne inteligence na produkcijske procese v medijih, s posebnim poudarkom na ustvarjanju medijskih vsebin.

Title:Production aspects of artificial intelligence in the media
Abstract:This thesis explores the impact of artificial intelligence on media production processes, with a particular focus on content creation. It examines the use of tools for content automation, information verification, and personalized distribution. The theoretical part is based on current literature in the field, while the empirical part draws on interviews with journalists and editors. The findings show that artificial intelligence opens up new opportunities, such as increased productivity, faster fact-checking, and more precise audience targeting. At the same time, it presents challenges in areas such as ethics, authorship, and professional responsibility—especially in ensuring factual accuracy, transparent use of sources, and maintaining editorial control when creating content with AI. The contribution of this thesis is twofold: theoretically, it deepens the understanding of the transformation of contemporary media content creation in the context of digitalization; practically, it offers insight into the experiences of media professionals who deal daily with the integration of artificial intelligence into production processes.
