Abstract:Visokošolski učbenik »Upravljanje trajnostnosti v oskrbovalnih verigah« je celovit vodnik, namenjen podpiranju trajnostnosti in ozelenitve logističnih procesov. Poudarek je na modernih pristopih in konceptih varovanja okolja in minimiranja okoljskih vplivov s sočasnim povečevanjem dodane vrednosti in produktivnosti, uporabi orodij za okoljsko presojo in vzpostavitvi krožnih oskrbovalnih verig. interdisciplinarni pristop združuje znanja iz več področij - okoljski management, okolju prijazno oblikovanje izdelka, ogljični odtis, zelena logistika, energetska oskrba in aplikacijo uporabnih znanj tudi na področja izven logistike in oskrbovalnih verig. Bralci so opremljeni s praktičnimi znanji in veščinami za izboljšanje trajnostnosti in produktivnosti ter preglednosti posameznih procesov. Učbenik pokriva teme, kot so: 1) Podnebne spremembe; 2) Okoljska presoja -ogljični odtis; 3) Okoljska presoja LCA; 4) Krožno gospodarstvo; 5) Trajnostna energetska samooskrba in 6) Ekodizajn. Celotna vsebina je usmerjena v krepitev trajnostnih kompetenc, ki so ključne za zeleni prehod logističnih podjetij in večanje odpornosti oskrbovalnih verig.

Title:Mastering Sustainability in Supply Chains
Abstract:The higher education textbook "Mastering Sustainability in Supply Chains" is a comprehensive guide designed to support sustainability and the greening of logistics processes. It emphasizes modern approaches and concepts for environmental protection and minimizing environmental impacts while simultaneously increasing added value and productivity. The textbook covers the use of environmental assessment tools and the establishment of circular supply chains. An interdisciplinary approach integrates knowledge from various fields, including environmental management, eco-friendly product design, carbon footprint assessment, green logistics, energy supply, and the application of practical knowledge beyond logistics and supply chains. Readers are equipped with practical skills to enhance sustainability, productivity, and process transparency. The textbook covers topics such as: 1) Climate change, 2) Environmental assessment- carbon footprint, 3) Life cycle assessment (LCA), 4) Circular economy, 5) Sustainable energy self-sufficiency, 6) Eco-design.
