Abstract:V magistrskem delu se obravnavajo zasnova, razvoj in testiranje prototipa mobilne aplikacije »Zeleni dotik«, namenjene podpori pri negi sobnih in vrtnih rastlin.

Title:Development of the mobile application "zeleni dotik"
Abstract:The master's thesis addresses the design, development, and testing of a prototype mobile application called »Zeleni dotik«, intended to support the care of indoor and garden plants. The application enables users to record basic plant information, set reminders for watering and fertilizing, and track growth through height entries and image uploads. It is developed using the Flutter framework and utilizes the Firebase cloud database. The focus is on the design of the user interface, tailored to the needs of users. The development process includes methods such as analysis of existing solutions, design through wireframes and data models, and the implementation of the MVVM architecture. User experience is evaluated via a survey questionnaire, and results are analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The findings show a high level of user acceptance, with users highlighting the clarity of navigation, the reminder system, and the ability to track plant progress as the most valued features. Some limitations, such as a limited range of tips and complexity of image uploads, represent opportunities for further improvement. The application proves to be a useful and adaptable solution, with potential for extended functionality development.
