Rezultati so bili obdelani v programu IBM SPSS.

Title:Integration of pedagogical approaches with science and technology education in primary school children: different approaches and outcomes in the design of a simple product
Abstract:This master's thesis explores the connection between pedagogical approaches and the outcomes of technical work among 4th-grade primary school students. The study focused on the influence of work organization, motivation, gender, and prior experience on the quality of a simple technical product, a lighthouse. Two classes participated in the research: one was taught using a project-based approach with discussion, while the other followed a traditional teaching method. The study included 20 students. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS, employing Spearman’s rank-order correlation coefficient and the Mann-Whitney U test. The results revealed a positive correlation between work organization and the quality of the products (ρ = 0.741; p < 0.001). A statistically significant relationship was also found between motivation and technical skills (ρ = 0.678; p < 0.001), whereas gender (p = 0.598) and prior experience showed no statistically significant effect. The hypothesis regarding the influence of different pedagogical approaches on motivation was not confirmed (p = 0.357). Most students successfully transferred theoretical knowledge into practice; however, due to the absence of unsuccessful cases, this could not be scientifically verified. The findings offer insight into the complexity of factors influencing technical work in children and suggest directions for future research with larger and more diverse samples. The study also highlighted some limitations, primarily the small sample size and the subjective assessment of product quality and work organization.
