Abstract:Optimizacija poti pomeni hitrejše in ekonomično ugodnejše premagovanje razdalj, s ciljem premeščanja blaga in ljudi. Obe metodi sta podali pozitivne rezultate. Predvsem z metodo Kitajskega poštarja smo na obravnavanem območju dokazali uspešnost uporabljene metode, z ekonomičnim rezultatom.

Title:Optimization of waste collection and routing
Abstract:Routes' optimization ensures faster and economically more favourable mastering of distances, with the goal of transferring goods and people. Optimization of assembly and transport routes over waste collection is introducing specific activity in stochastic traffic subsystem, considering execution of working process of gathering. With consideration of technology, technical characteristics of vehicles for squeezing of waste materials and urban circumstances of individual ranges, it is possible to analyze the planning assembly of ranges and routes in geographical information system. The planning is conditioned by parameters concerning the amount of materials and the number and size of containers of which also the incidence of removal is dependant. Reliable parameters can only be achieved with systematic monitoring of vehicles in their functioning. Parameters define corner entry data from existent ways and are of essential meaning for optimization of routes. We looked into three most frequent methods of production of entry data, which are being used in practices. As the basic scientific tool we have chosen for the optimization of assembly and transport ways the procedures of theory of graphs. In the field of the assembly, the range of municipality Maribor we have taken as an example the method used by the “Chinese postman problem” and “Travelling salesman problem”. Both have passed the procedure with positive results. We have further on tested the effectiveness of the procedure; above all the one based on »Chinese postman problem« and has been able to confirm the efficiency of the method in discussed field with economic results.
