Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava zasnovo avtomatizacije tehnološkega postopka lepljenja palet. Vse to vodi k gospodarnosti procesa v primerjavi z začetnimi investicijskimi stroški in predvideno amortizacijsko dobo.

Title:Design and optimization of the pallet bonding process
Abstract:Optimization, Process design, Pallet Bonding, Process automation, Automated production
Keywords:This diploma thesis addresses the design process of automating the technological procedure of pallet gluing. Based on initial concepts and previous practical experience, a conceptual design of an automated process was developed with the aim of improving work efficiency, optimizing the utilization of workstations and available floor space, and increasing adaptability to actual pallet consumption requirements within the production process. The design is based on a fully automated procedure, whose key advantages include improved operational efficiency and a significant reduction in the physical workload previously required of workers performing the task manually. Calculations and cost analyses were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed solution. The results were then compared to those of the existing (partially manual) process. The main technical characteristics and components were defined and selected according to the functional requirements of the system. In addition
