Abstract:Nadzorne plošče v poslovnem okolju predstavljajo ključno orodje za učinkovito upravljanje in podporo odločanju. Z uporabo poglobljene študije primera smo analizirali obsežno interno dokumentacijo in identificirali specifične težave, ki so povezane z razvojem in implementacijo nadzornih plošč.

Title:Development and implementation of dashboards: experiences from the banking environment
Abstract:In the business environment dashboards are an important tool for effective management and decision support. However, despite numerous theoretical recommendations for successful implementation in practice organisations often face challenges that hinder the optimal use of these solutions. This thesis focuses on the analysis of the development and implementation of dashboards in the banking environment to clarify the gap between the theoretical guidelines and the actual situation in practice. Through an in-depth case study, we analysed extensive internal documentation and identified specific issues related to the development and implementation of dashboards. The thesis addresses several related challenges, including difficulties in integrating different data sources, unclearly defined business requirements, limited data literacy of users and unrealistic expectations of dashboard functionality. The result of the thesis is a set of concrete reasons why these challenges occur in practice, as well as recommendations on how to address them more effectively and improve the dashboard implementation process.
