Abstract:V članku so prikazani stanje in trendi meteorološke(klimatološke) vodne bilance kot razlike med višino padavin in evapotranspiracijo. Analizirani so trendi višine padavin, potencialne evapotranspiracije in vodne bilance za dvanajst meteoroloških postaj v Sloveniji, in sicer za obdobje 1961–2023. Prikazani so vzroki zanje in posledice. Analizirane so tudi prostorske značilnosti razporeditve vodne bilance v Sloveniji na osnovi georeferenciranih rastrskih podatkov v bazi Chelsa Climate za obdobje 1981–2010.

Title:Changes in the water balance in Slovenia between 1961 and 2024
Abstract:This article presents an analysis of the status and trends related to the meteorological (climatological) water balance, focusing on the differences between precipitation and evapotranspiration. It examines trends in precipitation, potential evapotranspiration, and water balance across twelve meteorological stations in Slovenia from 1961 to 2023. The article outlines both the causes and consequences of these observed trends. Additionally, it explores the spatial distribution characteristics of the water balance in Slovenia, utilizing georeferenced raster data from the Chelsa Climate database for the period of 1981 to 2010.
